Born In Birmingham, Alabama. Raised in several cities such as Detroit, Michigan, Harlem NY, with the majority of the time being spent in Newark, NJ. A student of St. Roccos, and St. Benedicts Prep both of Newark, New Jersey. A graduate of Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange New Jersey. Also an attendee at the former Tuskegee Institute. In later years, having met extreme adversity during which time many of the poems from my first book Omowale were penned. One poem "SlowKiller" from the compilation was placed as a semi-finalist and published by The National Library of Poetry in a book titled "The Path Not Taken" along with other poems from around the world. This was a personal accomplishment that was humbly accepted.
I am blessed to be able to share some of my writings with seasoned poetry readers as well as new readers. I thank you for your time and consideration of my work.

One thousand-plus days involuntary confinement, the lesson balances the mathematics of lost days.
My past was written in pen; forever unchangeable. But my future is scripted in pencil; still being determined. Self-elevation is inclined to draw a much closer watch.
